This page shows some of the pictures I took on my 2001 trip from Minnesota through Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Nevada, California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montanna, North Dakota, and home to Minnesota. The trip was 6,310 miles and 3 weeks long. It was the trip to my first BMWMOA rally which was in Redmond Oregon that year.
This trip was an important trip for me because it was my second ride longer than a couple of hours and the first one where I rode the entire trip alone. I had some minor issues on the trip but came through it fine and firmly convinced that there are simply too many beautiful and interesting places in this country to see before I vacation over seas again.
I have a few friends to thank for making me capable of a trip like this. Thanks again folks (you know who you are).
